We're having a real-world reunion party for our improvising fam!

It's been a long, long turbulent time, and we've missed all those wonderful improv jams, the get-togethers, the backstage conversations, the laughter and the music. Whilst we've kept going online for 18 months, and will continue in the virtual world with classes, jams and socials, we  can't wait to see you all you improvisers below the waist!

We want to spread a little happiness and bring our improvising community together for the most fun night we can muster - and in a safe way.

Where better to do that than the Old Coal Yard? Home to Northern Alchemy Brewery, its a big warehouse style space, really airy and well ventilated, with a great bar, ales direct from the tap, and outdoor seating too. What's more, its owned by Carl Kennedy of the Suggestibles, so keeping it in the family.

For entertainment, well dear friends, that's partly up to you! Our musical mistress Jenni Winter will be playing the keys in her wonderful way, and you are invited to sing some impromptu numbers. Paula Penman is also DJing and spinning tunes to keep the fun atmos going, so we're sure the whole night will be sublime.

We're sorry to our online improv friends who don't live locally and can't join us this time. We wish you could be here!

For Safety:

We are restricting capacity to around 60 guests made up of our students and performers (OCY usual cap is 200 so plenty of room) and limiting ticket bookings to just 1 or 2 each (you're welcome to bring a spouse or friend). 

So we can all feel safe and comfortable to mingle and to have our sing-along,  ALL attendees must be double vaccinated (unless medically exempt) and have taken a lateral flow test that day which proves negative. You must of course not attend if you have Covid symptoms, or have come into close contact with someone who has, or has tested positive.

The OCY is opening on a Thursday especially for us. We are asking everyone to chip in £5 to ensure they cover staffing costs, and for Jenni and Paula's expenses.
