At last! The Suggestibles return to the Stand Comedy Club in Newcastle on Thursday 15th July - and we’ll be back to our monthly Thursday shows. 

We’ve been resident at the Stand since 2012, and it’s been gutting to have no shows there for over a year since the pandemic struck. There had been hopes to resume sooner, but every gig we got in the diary got postponed. 

We wanted to return safely, and for Covid restrictions not to limit the show too greatly. 

Whilst the Stand has been able to put on some stand-up comedy, a socially distanced improv show, with a cast of 6, is a different ball game. Plus, if you know us, our shows involve a lot of musical comedy and singing – and that’s been a big no-no! So, that’s why our intended May show got moved to July. We’re hoping by then we can sing and laugh together, even if it’s under a mask for now.
